North Carolina Wedding Ben and Cameron - March 18,2011

I love the beginning of wedding season! Ben and Cameron were married on March 18, 2011 in North Carolina on the beach surrounded by friends and family. Because they are from Alabama, they are going to have a reception this weekend back home. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!

Stephen and Michelle's Engagement

This afternoon I had the pleasure of shooting Stephen and Michelle's engagement session! Here are a few of the images we had taken today. Congratulations to the happy couple who are getting married on September 10, 2011!

Wedding Revisited: Chris and Marcie (October 2009)

We chose to revisit this wedding in honor of the newest addition to the Davis family, a baby girl.

The wedding was beautiful. The beach in Sandbridge at sunset made for the perfect location.

A year after the wedding, Marcie and Chris called me for a maternity shoot and of course I could not say no! Here a just a few images from the shoot.

Getting the most out of your wedding photography

Periodically I will post suggestions for brides to get the most out of their wedding photography. Here's the first tip!

Engagement sessions are always a great idea! We offer free engagement sessions for our clients for a few reasons, the most important being that it gets the couple comfortable in front of my camera before the wedding day. Think of it as a practice session for those of you who aren't comfortable with having your photos taken.

My clients typically use the images from the engagement session for their "Save the Date" cards and to be put on display at the reception. Come up with creative ways to incorporate those images into promoting your wedding day!
